I am interested in sustainable agriculture, particularly agroforestry. I am doing my PhD at HortiBonn, where my research uses decision analysis to compare the carbon dynamics and economic performance of different agroforestry systems. I am also interested in the socio-economic side, especially consumer perceptions and awareness of agroforestry products.

My PhD is part of the practice-oriented project "Agroforst-Hub" at the Culture and Nature Foundation Schloss Türnich in the Rhenish mining area (Rheinisches Revier), a post-mining region in Germany. The project aims to establish various agroforestry systems and to develop regional ways to market their products in a climate-friendly way.
